EVO VIII Tein Install...

Check out our install on our EVO VIII Tein Flex Coilovers. We received the set on March 13th and installed them. Like the Tein on our WRX...we are very satisfied. 16 way electronically controlled dampening, adjustable height, front adjustable strut tops, rear pillow ball mounts, 280lbs/in spring rates front and rear...the qualities go on and on! We are very happy with the fit, ride, and adjustibility. This is our 3rd set for one of our cars and will go with nothing else.

The install took about 2 hours, no power tools. The shocks are set to a good ride height and even with our big 18x8.5 245/40/18 tires, they sit perfect!

Even better they are INSTOCK and ready for ordering from Vivid Racing. - 480-966-3040

The handling is stiffer and more responsive. Though we have not had much time to truely give her a beating

The 7 does fit the 8 as well. We have TEIN, JIC, HKS, and some other coilovers instock. Any other questions give us a call and we can chat!

Do you have any problems with the tires rubbing with the 18's?
Those wheels are kick-***!

I guess we missed the part about the car being precisly engineered(big wheels aren't always good guys, throwing off the unsprung wait with clunky electronics isn't a good idea either) I think I will stick with original parts

Hey steve,

The volk's are probably the same weight as the stocks!

And... how many asses showed up with "Percision" tuned GT2' and 3's for the gumball 3000. A ton and I bet all of them would spank a stocker!!

VividRacing.com: Why not go with stiffer suspension/higher spring rates, etc.?

Is it because you guys drive on the highway a lot(read: daily driver)?
I thought this car was only a demo car for Vividracing.com.

Anyway, I check out your site all the time. This Evo is one of the freshest I have seen to date--especially after the monster carbon trunk. Keep it coming correct.
