Snow Tires?

Looking to buy some snow tires for the Michigan winter...

My brother has the Blizzack LM-25's on his STi, and they are yet to be in the snow, but I hear they are great.

I was looking at Tire Rack.. and the 2 I am interested in were the Blizzack LM-22's, or the Blizzack WS-50's w/ UNI-T...

Was wondering if any of you have had any experience with either of these, and could maybe let me know which I should go with.

Thanks.

ws-50. Better snow handling, but lacks performance. But you save money.

it was created for a reason.

i have the hankook w300, v rated snow tire. does the job, does it well, and it was cheap. if i had the money id get nokian, but id find a better way to spend 500 more than what i did on the hankook's.
