here are a couple pics that I took of two of my friends evo's. the silver is stock ride height, the black one is dropped on S-Tech's. I have S-techs on my 240 and they are a very smooth ride and provide extra handling.

H-Tech's > S-Tech's
Your shocks will love you later.
I have the S-Tech's and just bought new shocks for my car, but they won't go on til I have H-Tech's to go on.

Some of us don't need to spend thousands of dollars just to lower our EVO's. I drive my car as a daily driver. I don't race it, auto cross it, nor so I road race it. Therefore, I don't see spending the money. Don't get me worng. They'd be nice to have, but not worth the money to me right now.
I had Apexi N-1 dampers on my Type-R and they were nice, but I never used them for what they were made for. I got the ride height I wanted and NEVER touched them agian unless I was going on a road trip and I would soften them up.
My offer still stands though. Let me know and I'll be glad to PM you my address.
I lowered my civic on Tokico springs/struts and one side was lower than the other. I told myself, never again will i lower a vehicle w/o using good coilovers.
But those pics actually look pretty well. tokico's are not Tein's either. Just my 2 cents.

Well yea, for me the springs will be temporary. I will use them until I can afford some Tein SS's and an EDFC. Thats my goal. I just dont like the stock ride height.
