I think you need to look at the tires before you get too far along. The stock tires are VERY stiff on the EVO. Kind of hard to compare the suspension of these different cars when they are all running different tires :\ just my .02

True. Another tyre makes a difference on these cars.

hehe...talking about harsh? Go ahead and drive a Mini Cooper S

I owned a 03 MCS and the ride was far more punishing than in the Evo.

After driving my wife's Prius, it seems super tight, but I wouldn't describe it as "harsh". I'm the kind of driver who doesn't feel safe in a cushy ride. I really need to feel what's going on. I've driven the Evo on many long trips -including rough roads- and my wife has never complained about the ride, which is a very good barometer...

I drove the Evo and the ride doesn't feel harsh at all, probably as harsh as my Z if not a better ride actually...But no where close to the harshness of the Miata, but then, again the Miata wasn't meant to be comfortable

it's a harsh ride. i was driving home a drunk friend and the rough ride made me pull over 10+ times on the way home. never happened in my other car, which is a 99 mustang.
