Lug nuts??

I bought new wheels today, I was told by the shop I got em' from that I will need standard acorn lug nuts. Im trying to find blue or black. I've looked at ebay already and there are many selling them. Are they any good? Im looking for good quality lug nuts for a good price. Does anyone know the standard mm size of the standrad acorn lug nuts. Also where can I find special locks blue or black to match the lug nuts that I will buy... The wheels by the way are team dynamics pro race in bronze.....

I am currently using Rays Black standard length closed-ended nuts, and I love them. They're light and durable. I'll be switching to Blue soon, only because I think they look better and they'll then match my valve stems which are Blue.

I have it on good authority, however, that a well known Japanese wheel manufacturer will soon be releasing burnt titanium lug nuts. Completely pointless from a functional standpoint, I know, but cool nonetheless.

+1, I am also using rays blue lugnuts. They are super light weight and the set comes with a locking lugs w/ a key. They are a little more expensive but they are good quality.

Sorry, I haven't used the mutekis, but I know that I have used an impact on them a few times and had no issues, but I only use a torque wrench now so that I don't chip the bronze GN+ wheels now.

Also, I could check the box and find out the exact size but I know they fit perfect on my car.

I would not recommend not using a impact on ANY lug nut. It is just to much of a chance to hurt the stud and lugs.

And everytime you have the lugs off use a little antiseize on the studs to help prevent the lug siezing to the stud

I am running the rays lug nuts because I am a JDM *****.

You can get them here

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...oducts_id/2199

Size is 12mmx1.5

They are lighter then the mutekis

any weight counts for something.

Maybe I should cut out the big macs but for me it is easier to buy lug nuts

On the serious side rotational mas is huge in performance. I know if it not alot of weight but when you beat someone in the 1/4 buy .05 sec you will thank the lord you had those lugs.

Ben

P.S and they are dope and get the honeys

MachV sells some open end lugs aluminum lug nuts. Pricing is less than Rays.
