EVO Suspension on WRX

Could I bolt an EVOs stock suspension onto a WRX? Is it that easy?

In other words buy a stock setup off somebody for a good price (struts and springs) and just throw them on the WRX. Thanks

For the price you pay for stock Evo suspension, you are almost half way to a decent set of coilovers. Unless you are getting it for free, it isn't worth the price.

I can get a stock VIII setup off a friend for a pretty good price. Just want to know if it's a simple procedure to bolt them onto the WRX. Or "relatively" simple. Thanks

The Evo and WRX are completely different cars made by completely different manufacturers. They have completely different unibodies, completely different drivetrains, and completely different suspension geometries.

The short answer: No, you can't do this.

This is NOT simple. You would need to fabricate new mounts for the fronts and make the rears into struts.

IT CANNOT BE DONE FOR A REASONABLE COST!!!!!

Can there be an exam you have to pass before you buy a performance oriented vehicle? Please?

Ok...seriously...enough of this.

EvoRSfor060, people are reacting like this because you are ignoring the facts they are telling you.

Look at it this way: If you could get a *killer* wheel trade on a set of wicked JDM wheels for your WRX, and the wheels were a bolt pattern that does not fit the WRX, would you buy them? No, of course not, because they would sit in the garage and your car would be on blocks.

So the truth is that the Evo suspension is like those JDM wheels. It will not fit...but I know that you can get a great deal at some point on a decent used coilover setup if you keep looking. That is what we all recommend...

Regards,
Ethan
