hi gang, i need some help. I just got a set of used Enkei RS-6 17"x7 wheels and was planning to put on a set of snow tires to use during the winter. My question is about the lugnuts and hub centrics.

Does anyone know what size small tuner lugnuts i need to get?

Also, i keep hearing and reading about hub centrics. Do i need them? Sorry for the ignorance on this area, except i've never used them before. Also, are there different materials and brand hub centrics that are better than others? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You want to pick up hubcentric rings. The factory designed the shear loads from the wheel to be transfered to the hub. Without rings your studs will be taking shear loads, they are only designed to clamp the wheel.

For enkeis you'll probably get some hard plastic rings, which work fine if you're not open tracking.

You can actually get the composite ones on ebay for like $12. Aluminum rings are great if they are tight at the bub and rim. Mine were not and it still had the shimmy, so I put the compositre ones on and she be steady...arrrrrrr.
