Eurotuner just did a test, and the top two tires were the.
1) Eagle F-1
2) Advan Neova
* They said that the Neova's would have won by the last year standards, but I forget the exact reason.
I will be getting the Neova's this spring!

stick with the stock tires. You don't have to buy them new. There are plenty of people that upgrade to 18inch rims and then sell their OEM tires with a few hundred or thousand miles on them. That's what i've been doing for a year now. You can get an excellent set of OEM tires for 650. that's cheaper than most of the other brand tires you'll get plus OEM tires ROCK!
If you're doing track events then go with the RA-1s. That's the route i'm taking. The RA1 i hear can be driven on the street but when they start getting worn out then drivin them in the wet is next to suicidal (sp)

of that list i have used 4 types.bridgestone050,goodyear f-1,michelinps2,on my 8 and t-1r and michelin ps2 on my 5.far and away best tyre is the michelin wet or dry followed by the f-1 great wet ,good dry, side wall a little soft, toyo t-1r good wet and dry but never liked the feel or feed back.did not give me the confidence to carry speed into the corner . 050 the worst of the bunch.ok dry and bad wet.all imho.for me only one tyre at this time, michelin ps2. hope to try something new this summer but where i live wet grip is essential.rains every second day on the west coast of scotland.cheers,God bless.

For dry and wet the BFG KDW-2 cannot be beat. That is the problem with all the other tires. They are all better in the DRY but totally SUCK in the WET. I have had the KDW-2's now for about 25K miles and they are still going strong. And I live here in Miami where it rains every other day.
