Offset and tire for TE37 18*8.5 ?

Hi all,
I've a black evo 9 and i want to change the BBS stock wheels by 18" silver rims.
I would like to buy silver Volks TE37 for look and lightweight. But these are only available in 8.5 and in 3 offset, +22, +35, +40...
Could you tell me what is the best offset on this wheel on evo 9 ?
I think +35 is the good one.

Which is the best option of tire for this rim without making any change on the car ?
255/35*18 or 245/40*18 ? For the best performance, look and without rub of course.

Thanks for your assistance

best offset is 35.ihave bbs ch 18x8.5 on my 5 and had them on my 8.i know in america you like the widest tyres you can get on your cars but for me 235/40 18 is perfect.over here we have a lot of narrow twisty asphalt roads and any wider and tramlining becomes a problem.

try this link: http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/...modelName=TE37

It should have the same fitment as the VIII, and on there it recommends a +30 with 235/40 tyres. I'm pretty sure you can get away with the +35 cos the stock is +38 and the stock enkei's on the VIII are 7.5" (I seem to recall). So if my numbers are correct, you should be only around 10mm cloSER to your strut etc. I think it should be okay.

I have the TE37 also (right now I have the CE28 as well, but I rekon the TE looks better, anyway) but mine's a 17" 8.5" +30 and no rubbing... sure you can't find the +30?

In bronze/white it's not a problem to find them in +30 but in silver, they seem not exist in this offset.

Wheels might not be available right away, but they do make them. I have a set of 18 8.5 30 with 255 35 18 mecury silver. Had to roll the rear fender lips. BTW, I think bronze TE37's look pretty sick on black evos. I might have a pic. Wanna see?

Ok, it's a good news Do you know somebody who has them in 18*9" (always in mercury silver) ?

Had to roll the rear fender lips
If I buy them in 18*8.5 +35 with 255/35, do i have to make some changes on fenders ?

Wanna see?
Yea, if you've some pictures... I never saw this rims in bronze on a black evo.

Thanks for the information

TE's 18 8.5 are available in 30 or 40 mm offset. 30 is what Volk recommends, but on some 255/35's (pirelli corsa for one) you might have to roll the rear fenders. If it were up to me I'd get 30mm for the front and 40mm rear and use a 5 mm spacer.

In 18 9.0 there's only 40mm offset, which works ok on a car with coilovers. I also have a set of these, but in white.

Here's a partial picture of bronze te37's in 18 9.5:
