If you are looking for really aggressive suspension then this is not for you. if you're looking for suspension that is practical on everyday roads sign yourself up for some pss9's.
the comment about going with too stiff of a rear sway bar is true. if the bar is set too stiff the ride will deteriorate. no matter how you adjust the the dampner settings.

Us: Firm, crisp, and yet still compliant and comfortable.

I installed these kids about two weeks ago on my 2003 Evo 8. The previous descriptions are all correct. The PSS9s have a very compliant ride on the street. The cars rides like my old e46 M3. Much better than a stock Evo 8. Of all the coilovers I've tested these have the softest, smoothest ride quality. I have them set stiff too.
Took the car to the track last weekend. The car was also nicely balanced and composed on the track. Unfortunately, the spring rate is not high enough to make these serious track shocks. They're perfect for weekend HPDE stuff but race shocks they are not. For a car driven primarliy on the street I couldn't be happier.

The GroupN coil-overs are standard size, so I'm able to run either H&R metric race springs or Eibach 2.25" springs. Looking at the pics posted on the board, the springs on the PSS9's look like a standard race spring as well. If the adjustments on the shocks are in a broad enough range, you can probably just pick up some race springs that are stiffer than the PSS9's come with and drop them in without any revalving by Bilstein.
