lower Chassis brace worth it?

I found the Reworks lower chassis brace on ebay for cheap. I was wondering if there would be any noticable gains switching over to this? or should I stay away and save my money?
thanks, ed

Ahh.. A ebay part. Remember most the time you get what you pay for. Let us know how it goes if you do pick it up.

My friend runs the REWorks front strut bar. It works considering it braces itself much like the stock one. Not sure the weight difference is with the stock one that came with my Evo, but if you don't have one, it is not a bad one to get.. for the price. He tracks his Evo alot and no complaints about the bar.

I knew this would be brought up I just don't see the $150+ price difference to get another piece of metal that has a different name brand. I'm sure there are better and stronger braces but I figure if it is one piece with more mounting points it should have some benifits over the stock 2 piece design.

One thing to keep in mind is that a bar is not just a bar.

The internal bracing of the bar is what gives it the strength of the piece. The GT Spec bars are triple wall quad tube design so they are very strong. With those ebay bars you will not know what they are on the inside until you cut them open.

Just food for thought

They are both great pieces. The GT Spec does have one more internal brace then the cusco but I couldn't tell you if that equates to better performance.

Any part that helps tighten the chassis is a good thing.
