Need your Quick Insight

I have finally decided to get the tanabe gf210's, but before I click "buy" I would like to know if I will be able to clear my driveway everyday. I don't think I will have any trouble going forwards into my garage, but what do you guys think about going backwards? Here are some pictures:

Forwards (pretty sure I'm good):

Backwards (not sure if I'm good):

more then likely going straight at it backing up you're going to scrape, with as close as you are now, id say you will.

I think you should get a new driveway.

Hope that helps.

sharp turn in's is the only way to avoid scraping. Pull in so only one front tire enters driveway first, then it should be fine. Back out the same way. I have an even steeper transition pulling into my shop. I just turn in at a very sharp angle and it works for me. Tein's on mine. my2cents

Yep, I think that's what I'm eventually going to have to do. Thanks man!

remember speed bumps and other variables - when your car is lowered, you will always scrape something, and it always sucks!

I have the GF210's and a similar issue with my driveway. I use IMR-TIM's technique above. Works fine and really not a problem. But, YMMV!

Good to know that we have the same problem and you can live with it. I mean, I think I am pretty good clearing it going forward, but for the one time every once in a blue moon that I go backwards, I might have trouble.

I wrote an article about getting over obstacles when lowered back when I had a slammed maxima with front lip (I only barely touched my front lip 4 times in 3 years in my daily driver), its all about technique:
