Correct tire size for EVOs

Hi, I got some Volk LE37Ts in 18X8.5, and was wondering about the tire size. I want to get 245/40/18s, and have seem a few EVOs here with that size on 8.5" wide wheels. I am going to get either lowering springs or coilovers, and was wondering if anyone has had any rubbing issues. Thanks.

I have the same exact wheels with that tire size and muellerized buddy clubs...no rubbing issues at all...That tire size will work perfect.

Thanks. How much did it cost you for the buddy clubs, parts/labor?

You'll be fine with plenty of room to spear.

I'm just as clueless about tire size. What about 255/35/18's on 18x9s? Anyone running that size? (Not trying to thread-jack)
