6061 forged?

Anybody ever heard of these wheels. The wheel widths are too small but the price and especially the weight caught my eye. They are a sponser on srt forums and i noticed they are making some srt only stuff for them. A nice cheap low weight 17x9 or 18x9 would be nice. Their website is http://www.6061forged.com

Is this the same 6061 company that had the white Evo at SEMA with the black 3-piece wheels with white lips in the Nitto booth?

No, that is www.6061alloy.com.

Us srt-4 guys are waiting for 6061 forged to release this wheel for us. The specs are 17x8 in 35 offset and although they haven't specified weight I would assume around 13-14 lbs a piece. They keep delaying the release on it though.

^ Damn that looks tight! Would be an awsome track rim if the weight pans out.

Here is an 18x8 wheel that 6061 forged has produced exclusively for the SRT-4.

Weight is 17 lbs.

I still like these alot:

It would be cool if they made them in some wider sizes for track use.

Those are nice but 64000 yen is about $550. I know thats msrp and they will sell for significantly less but still nowhere near the two hundred and change the 6061 wheels go for.

6061 forged wheels are by far THE cheapest quality forged wheels out.

Their coming out with new models and sizes.

Yeah I wish. We've been waiting months for a real life sample of the 17x8 wheel above so we can see if it looks exactly like the rendering above. (final designs tend to change once they are milled)

Hopefully sometime this year...

I know they are expensive....but I was just answering the question of the Evo specific wheel. I wouldn't pay that much for them.
