What do you think?

I have an 05 evo and my car has about 4,500 miles on it. My front two tires were rapidly balding unevenly in the front for some reason and now they have NO thread left and the white thread under the tire is showing on one of them. I took the car to the dealership to see why the hell my tires are balding at 4k miles and they said something about the tires being underinflated but i really think its an alignment problem..long story shorty I basically asked them replace my tires under warranty and they said they dont usually do that but then they spoke to the service manager and he agreed that they would pay 50% of the cost of the tires...meaning they would pay for one tire and i pay for the other one.

Do you guys think that I got a good a deal out of it? they pay 1 tire and I pay the other...or should the dealership be paying for both of them?

I think thats a pretty good deal considering tires are rarely covered under any sort of warranty. I would take them up on it and run like you robbed them.

depends what dealership price is for one tire. will they cover labor for mounting and balancing? i'd do it if it's under 300 otd.

Check your toe settings(alignment) in the front and rear make sure they are set to zero (as close as possible) in the fr and rr. Having too much toe will eat your tires quickly. I say you got a good deal from them as tires are wearable items.

It's a good deal i work fo a honda dealership and we do not cover any tire ware realated
issues. I would also recomend an alignment just to be carefull.
