Cusco trunk brace install question

Cusco trunk brace install question

just got my cusco brace. The only instrcutions I got were all in japanese. I thought that this just dropped right in, with the threads already there. But judging be the bolts with brackets I guess not. Anyone have advice to make it easyer before I set out to figure it out??

If you're talking about the brace that goes across the rear of the trunk, you need to either cut up or remove the rear-most plastic panel. There should be two black covers on the trunk floor that you can peel off and reveal the bolt holes you need to use.

the brackets aren't used unless you have an evo7 i think. i'm guessing the evo7 didn't have the bolts welded into the frame below.

ah ok, I thought it just bolted in, was wondering y the brackets were there, but I guess Idont use them! Thanks
