o.k. here's the prob.
everytime i make a left turn(hard or slow but sharp) i hear something rattling on my left front wheel, sounds more like something is terribly wrong. i check the struts if it's busted, no. i checked the cv joint but i can't seem to find the damn prob. i'm talkin about stock suspension . any input would be appreciated. note that i'm not racing the car

What year is your Evo? (that should be in your "Drives" section under your avatar - especially handy for stuff like this)
How many miles? If it's older, or higher mileage, it is probably a CV. If not older/high mileage, there are probably dozens of possibilities. I actually had a stick get caught up in my stock wheel, and it would tap the suspension when the wheel rotated while turned.

I had the plastic wheel well piece hit my tire and rub when I took a right or left turn. did one of the "plastic" screws come out? I have a hole rubbed into my plastic wheelwell cover.

if its a clunking sound, seems to be a commen noise. mine seems to make the noise mostly when the temp is about 40 degree out. I've searched many of threads on this problem and really havn't figured it out. it dosnt seem to matter one bit, just annoying!

very wierd, i have a 03 with 48k on it and have the same problem making a left hand turn, clunk clunk clunk. Its just been to damn cold here to get under it and look around.

Take it to the dealership there is a common problem with 03's and the lower ball joint. Just do a search under clunking or noise and you will a bunch of threads on it. Mine had the same problem and was fixed with a quick visit to the dealership.

Lets hope its the lower ball joint. Is there a TSB or something out on the ball joint for the 03's?? Im out of warrenty, so i need some kinda leverage when i go in.

If it is still under warrenty definietly take it to the dealership. Not sure how much for the part, but it is not too hard to change one out. It should take about 30 mins if you know what you are doing.
