Tire size question.

As you know the stock evo tire is 235x45x17. The nitto tire I am looking at only comes in 225x50x17.

Is this still okay for normal daily driving. The car will not be on the track. It is used as daily driving and some spirited driving.

Thank you for your help.

The 225's are about 3/4" taller than we recommend for an EVO and will just make it on the oe 8" wheel. They do make load and I've heard of others using that size for snows. Off our menu so I can't say for sure how well it will work.

Thank you. I don't want to decrease the width then cause I have those on the snow tires now....and the car handles like crap. it's looser and feels almost unsafe.

Oh well back to the drawing board I just want some good grip tires that actually fit the same 235x45x17's and that will get me through summer and winter. I need a good grip and tire tread. I don't need the grippiness of the stock advans...but something semi-comprable. oh well.....I will keep looking
