Question Rotor wear

i have StopTech slotted rotors (Fronts) and the inside of the right rotor is totally worn (pretty big lip and the slots are gone completely).

I've tracked only once and the pads have been Project Mu Titan Ki. The rotors were on the car for about 6 months. The left rotor is fine and the outside plate of the right front is fine.

At first I thought it may be normal but i can't get my head around it. The pads seem to be in good shape (no abnormal wear). i don't have data to back this up as it was just a visual inspection and I did not measure anything so i may be wrong.

Now i'm wondering if my inside caliper piston is getting stuck and thus causing accelarated wear. But then wouldn't the pad be worn too?

The other theory is that on stock rotors the outside plate is thicker than the inside plate. If the StopTech rotors are the same then that may explain why the inside plate wore quicker than the outside, but then why wouldn't the left rotor show the same symptom?

Could it be that my front right brake has a higher bias than the left front?

I don't think there is anything wrong with the rotors. there have been ZERO vibrations and they have performed flawlessly

I'm totally stumped

wow, I have the same Stoptech slotted rotor but with a more mild pad.. Hawk HPS, I'm going to check mine today, I changed to these rotors with new HPS about 9 months ago, so roughly the same time peroid as you.

I haven't tracked, but I have done lots of hard mountain runs.
I'll let you know.
