17" SSR Comps, no spacers?

There are a couple of threads around SSR Comps, and from what i can tell, tirerack is supposed to have come out with a 17" version that fits without spacers.

Is that still true? I don't see it listed on their website anymore...

I have a set from tire rack that does not use spacers. right now ssr is being reintroduced to the US market from having gone bankrupt. the exact time wheels will be here, I don't know.

What width? The 17x8.5 definitely scrape the front brakes without spaces.

EDIT: this is with stock-like offset

The old school ones we originally had a few years back did have spacers. SSR wasn't making the wheel in an exact offset for this car so they had to improvise. We have since moved to the 18" wheels that do not require the spacer. Unfortunately we do not have any 17's left.

I have the 17x8.5 +30 JDM Type C's. Some thing as the competitions. They don't come anywhere close to rubbing the brakes. Have had them on the car for over 2 years

If i went with the 18s and 235/40-18 tires i assume everything still fits?

Should i worry about rough roads, potholes etc with the lower profile tires?
