The Evo can autocross with SCCA now. It will not be eligible for roadracing until Jan. 2004. By the way, this is a hell of a precedent for the SCCA as 4-wheel drive and forced induction cars have not been permitted to roadrace at the National level in years past.
Cheers,

so, what's the conclusion on a set of springs that will lower the front so the wheel gaps are even front and back... that is the only thing that annoys me about the look of the car...

i don't want to screw up the amazing handling character of this car, but would like a more agressive stance...!

Ralliart has a set of racing springs available. Vivid has them on their site. They lower the car 1.2". I am looking into getting these as well, as I bought the car mainly for track days. I believe they are linear rate and not progressive.

SPRINGS...they wond do anything to damage the handling right? I mean I see how well calibrated everything is and was gonna leave the suspention alone, but I would mind a minor 1" ish drop
as long as it doesnt affect my performance

I'm having a hard time finding spring rates for these, as well as the oe setup- anybody able to shed any light on numbers (f/r).

Thanks

no i do not, but i was assured that these are designed to be used with the stock struts, and that's basically all i needed to know...

the drop is going to be approx 1", which will suit my needs... when i get them, i will see if i can determine the rates for you.

That'll be great. Generally the up the rates up a little for most lowering springs (generally).
