Found this thread when checking for how to install these lower arm bars. The cheapie eBay parts are surprisingly high quality -- nice material, appear to be reasonably strong, and well painted. Overall I'm pretty happy with these parts (wish I could say the same for everything on eBay. ;-)

That said, I wouldn't expect them to transform the handling of the car. They may help limit toe change under aggressive driving, but even that would probably be fairly minimal. I plan to install them on my racecar as cheap additional bracing to protect from cracking/metal fatigue where the arm attaches to the chassis. For that purpose, they should be fine.

I did this install. I think that the bars probably have a minimal influence on stiffness. Not bad at $50 or so. However the more expensive versions or any for that matter are probably not money well spent IMHO.

It's been almost a year since this thread... any new thoughts on this product?

If you look at your stock bushings in the trailing arms after 60k miles... well mine look like they are about to break. I've seen motor mounts get this way before.

I'm putting in whiteline bushings and thought I might try these... I'd like to find the ebay piece for 50$ too lol

My bushings seem to be fine at 46k on my 06.

I was thinking about trying them about but I rather just save up for RCE or Swift springs.

Spray paint works wonders or have them powder coated.
