Replacing front rotors and pads only

I'm really getting tired of my steering wheel giving me a palm massage everytime I brake so I'm looking at replacing my rotors and pads up front only. I'm basically trying to save some money but I was wondering if it's ok to have different pads and new rotors just for the fronts. I would suppose it's ok but just wanted to double check.

companies will usually tell u to do them all at once to take ur money. rear pads last longer cuz most of your braking pressure is in the front.

Dont forget not to let the caliper hang by the brake line.....have like a cardboard box or something to support it when off.....

Also dont forget to bleed ur brakes thoroughly and some new fluid
