Different BBS's?

I bought a used set of MR wheels and I noticed that the wheel weights on them look completely different than the ones I've seen on other MR's. My only concern is that they aren't OEM, possibly meaning the wheels were damaged and needed new weights (I'm probably just paranoid). The ones I've seen on about 8 different MR's have longer and narrow silver weights whereas mine are shorter, wider, and a different color (light gunmetal). I'm just curious if has released slightly different versions of the BBS's for the MR's or if I have a modified set. Has anyone else noticed this on their MR wheels?

wheel weights are put on by independent shops when you replace the tires and thus they use different brands of weights

I didn't know this! supposedly the wheels/tires I bought were brand new but if they have different weights that means the tires have been replaced, correct? I don't care if thats the case since the tires are practically brand new anyway, I just don't know why this guy told me the set was off a brand new MR with 100 miles

Kinda shady business ethics if you ask me.
