Help :( WRONG Tein upper tops!
Help.
The stupid supplier sent and we installed a set of Tein Upper mounts with part number:
PAR38-11PFR
The Tein site says this upper mount is for "LANCER Evo.IV/V.VI, FTO,Mirage"
However it SHOULD have been the Evo IX part:
PAR52-31PFR
the idiots!!!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
anyway Ive got my Tein SS Coilovers INCLUDING correct pillow ball uppers for front and rear, coming&being installed on Wednesday - today is only Friday however
Will having the PAR38-11PFR's installed cause me any damage?
They work OK but seem a bit squeaky over deep bumps especially on one corner

This isnt normal and it seems its because its the WRONG part.
Will using this part for a few days damage my car? should i just stop driving NOW and only drive again when the correct part is installed? far out

it obviously is fitted tight and torqued down and hanging on fine. it just is scaring the **** out of me. if i leave it with an 'evo V/ VI etc' upper strut top am I going to cause damage????
the alignment specs are good and everything looks tight/secure, im just really, really worried, because it turns out the wrong part was put in.
I cant wait for the SS's to arrive with the CORRECT evo IX uppers and in we go..>but til then --?? what are your thoughts/??? Help!?!?!

all fixed now
as it turns out, the strut tops i got with my new tein SS coilovers which are specifically FOR the evo 9, mount almost identically to the 'wrong ones' that i had on there. there was no ill effect, i wouldve been fine to drive it,
thanks for the cautionary advice though, no one was to know whether or not it would cause a problem, and i didnt drive it, and had no problems
Phew.
Thanks all
