Wheel Offset question

Will a 17" rim with a +40 offset fit my car and clear the brembo brakes?

Whether it clears the front brakes more a matter of individual wheel design, rather than offset. You can find one size/offset that fits with one model of wheel, but will NOT fit on a different model of wheel.

To answer your question we need the Model of wheel, diameter, width, and offset. Leaving out any of those, we will not be able to give assistance.
