Volk specs

I have tried searching and searching for confirmation on fitment and have come up dry.

Volk TE-37 18x9.5 +35 with 255/35-18 tires. Will these fit on the IX without rolling my fenders?

Thanks.

Yea I'm kind of stuck right now. I would love to go with the 18x9.5 +35 but don't want to ship them back if they don't fit. Unfortunately there are no +40 offset on the 18x9 TE37s. I don't really want to use a 5mm spacer but it looks like that's what I might have to do or go with the 18x8.5 +35 rims with a set of 245/40R18 tires.

Look here:

18x9.5 +35 and he claims he has no rubbing on 255/35 tires

And not that the Blue CE-28 is what you are looking for, but they are for sale:

There is a +40 offset on the TE37 in 18 x 9. Check out the attachment, it's from Mackin Industries.com

Sorry about that error in my posting. I didn't want to use 5mm spacers with the +40 18x9 Volk TE37s. I don't feel very safe using spacers.

Jbrown, that member was running 18x9 in a +35 offset. I know the 9" width with a +35 would work but wondering if the .5" might make me rub. Wouldn't want to find out the hard way.

+40 TE37 Fitment

According to the solid black triangle in the note of the attachment in my last post, they are a high pad model and are made to fit the Lancer EVO. I have spoken to Mackin and they said they fit. Why do you think that you need a 5mm spacer?

Because of the fact the offset is +40 on a 9.5 width rim. That black diamond states that it'll clear the calipers but I don't want to experience rub on the control arm, shock, or fenderwall trim.

I'm sure they'll clear fine. I doubt Mackin would say they would clear if they rubbed at any point.

My 18x8.5 +40 LE37's needed a 5mm spacer to clear in the front.

I was wondering will the TE37 18X8 1/2 +22 offset cause any problem (rubbing fenders) and also will these fit on the IX without rolling my fenders or getting overfender.

I ran the TE's 18x9 40mm with 265/645-18 Pirellis. No rubbing on the fenders, but I doubt they'll clear the front stock strut. I ran these with 2.25" coilovers. I've also used the TE's 18x9.5 35, but with 285/645-18. Front was ok, except for the fender liners. The rear fender besides some serious rolling, had to be pushed out were it met the bumper. I used one of those fender roll tools TireRack sells. One fitment that always seemed like a good compromise was CE28's on 18x9 35mm. With a 5mm front spacer and some mild rear fender roll you can squeeze a 275/35-18 on a stock suspension car.
