If springs are not allowed but shocks are, upgrading the shocks will benefit handling far more than just sway bars.

The car does pretty well with stock struts except for when the bumps become large enough to unsettle the front. Then it takes a long time for it to settle back down and we do lose time there. I'm a bit of a shock snob, so I'm well aware of the improvements that a good set of dampers can make. It's just not in the owner's (Ro, on this board) budget right now.

We are trying to make inexpensive, incremental improvements in the car, and attacking the tricycling and non-linear response seems like a good start.

Unless I can't read worth a damn, I don't see any Evo's in AS. Only STi's.
That's because all the evos go straight to BSP..and do quite well.

The sti's usually head to street mod

Not much, unbolt the two end links (one bolt each), then undo the two support braces (two bolts a piece) for a total of 6 bolts.

It takes alot more then that.

You have to drop the front rack down about 4" at least. There is a write up somewhere. I say give yourself 2-3 hours for install.
