Feedback from Axxis pad users...

One of my biggest complaints about my evo are the brakes. They seem to have no initial bite until you get them nice and hot.

I'm so happy with the Axxis ultimates on my gsx that I'm thinking about getting a set for my evo.

I was wondering if anyone was running Axxis on their evo and what they think?

I'm still on the stock brake pads on my Evo, but I did have the Ultimates on my previous car, a 99 Civic Si. As far as I understand them, you shouldn't be using these pads for track days, but I never did any, so that didn't affect me. I did think they were great for the street and autocross, and the price was right as well. The Ultimates had good bite when cold and were great when warm. The only downside for me was that they dusted like crazy. I imagine they'd dust even worse on a heavier car. Hope that helps.

Edit: Just read that you already have them on your GSX, so you probably knew all this already.

we use the Ultimates on several local EVOs and they feel and perform great. They don't make any noise but the occasional little squeak at the end of a stop and have a great cold bite. you should try them out.
