Can I do this?

Ok i recently bought a set of evo 9 rims (non-bbs) with a set of barely used Advans. The tires are practically new. Anyways I bought the rims and tires to have an extra set for my winter tires. I'm looking to buy Continental Extremes. They seem hold up very well in the snow and they also last a long time. Anyways I don't like how the evo 9 rims look and I prefer my stock evo 8 rims more. What I planning on doing was taking the almost new Advans off the 9 rims and making the 9 rims my winter wheels by putting the Conti's on them. My current Advan have less than 13,000 miles of them and have about half a season left on them so I might as well get all the use I can out of them before I put the new Advans on my 8 rims. What I want to know is if I can take the almost new advans off of the 9 rims and mount them on my 8 rims later on without any damage to the tire?

yeah, no problem, but I wouldn't let them sit for much more than a few months. just store them inside and wrap them in plastic.

Well I was going to wrap them in plastic and store them but they wouldn't go on until atleast June of 2007. I'm curious to to why this might me harmful because I have been thinking about this myself.
