I don't know that you can make a convex or concave shape without being all distorted. So offset issue would likely be bad.
On the other hand, clear wheels with clean brakes and race pads would get some serious looks on the streets. Especially when you hit the brakes and sparks fly around in your wheel.

Lexan weighs .0434 lbs per cubic inch.
They said the 20" wheel was 1.5" and the 22" wheel was 2" thick lexan so...
20" = 20.44lbs for the center section
22" = 32.98lbs for the center section
This is only the center section! The outer section would weigh at oleast 1/2 that so my guess is the 22" weighs well over 40lbs!!
In my opinion, the only use for these wheels is at SEMA for brake manufacturers to show off brakes, or at carshows to show off wheelwell area
