Tire Question

I have a quick tire question. Will going from the stock tire size of 235/45/17 to 255/40/17 increase the fender to wheel gap, or reduce it? I have tein s-tech springs currently on the car. And also, will there be less ground clearance, and will the new tire rub at all from the increased width. Thanks, Sean

so there would be a bigger gap between the fender and tire with the 255's? would 255's with a 45 sidewall fit in the evo without any problems?

no, its only three tenths of an inch difference in height. you'll never notice/see that little change in height.
