Feedback on these wheels

Hi guys. I'm looking to get some feeback on these wheels and pricing. We have a lot of companies in Japan that are always looking to get into the US market and I'd like to get everyone's opinion on these along with fitment.

AQUA FX

Cast wheels
17x8.0 +38
Expected retail of around $400/wheel.
Center caps are an additional $30

AQUA SS

Cast wheels
17x8.0 +35
Expected retail of around $400/wheel.
Center caps are an additional $30

RM-01

Forged wheels
19x8.5 +25 9.4kg
19x8.5 +38 9.2kg
19x9.5 +38 9.9kg

Expected retail of around $1200/wheel

RF-42

Forged wheels
17x8.5 +37 7.85kg
18x8.5 +37 8.25kg

17's ~retail-$750.00/wheel
18's ~retail-$850.00/wheel

S-05

Forged wheels
17x8.5 +35 6.95kg
17x9.5 +37 7.15kg
18x8.5 +35 7.09kg
18x9.5 +35 7.10kg

17's ~retail-$850.00/wheel

Let me know your ideas on these.

I like the RM-01's. However, they are really bloody expensive IMHO. I'd have a hard time dropping that sort of coin for rims when there are just as good (w/o knowing other specs) for less.

I like the S-05's but honestly, their way too expensive for pretty unoriginal designs...

At one point, there were at least 2, at most 3 complete sets of Southern Ways S-05's in the country, and we had one of them.

Unfortunately, this car was wrecked and the wheels along with it.

Rediculously light at only about 15.5 lbs for a 18x8.5 with a 35 offset.

Last I heard, however, Southern Ways had discontinued this wheel permanently. Maybe not though, if you're going to bringing them in.

There is a brand spanking new set in the same above mentioned size, but in a silver color currently available in South Florida for anyone who wants them.

wheels are in production and actually instock in japan. thanks for the feedback everyone, and remember retail pricing will always be on the high side but yes these wheels are still not exactly cheap. but they are very light though. i like the look of them on the evo...nice pic.

I would just assume getting an advan or volk or bbs wheel for that price...

at the same time it would be TOO bada** to have wheels that only a handful of people in the US had, if the above is true

what kind of price range are we looking at to make these wheels reasonable. i'm not asking what people want to pay, i know that answer, but what you feel is a fair and reasonable price for a high quality lightweight forged wheel that is not whored out to everyone

Forged SSR's and other brands go for $300-400 at Tire Rack. That is what you should be targeting. Most lightweight cast wheels will top out at 250/wheel. Even Forged BBS are nowhere near close to 1200 per wheel.

Yes these prices are ridiculously high. IMHO the design is nothing to stand out from the crowd either.

Sorry but you'll have to do a lot better and at least match the prices of the already available quality wheels.
