Question Suspension gone bad?

I think my strut or springs or both are going bad. Just a couple of days ago, some weird creaking noises came from my front passenger side of my car. It usually happens at slow speed and it sounds like when you walk down a staircase and the floor creaks. It happenned recently and it has been cold but this only happens on my front passgener area. Anybody know whats wrong or how it sounds to have a strut go bad? Ps. i have 32000 miles on my '03 evo with Hotchkis springs installed at 15000 .

I get a sound that sounds similar to yours but it only happens when it's really cold in the morning and I'm just starting to roll. I think I've narrowed mine down to the AMS LICP possibly rubbing on the undertray. Once I've been moving for only a short while (about a minute) it won't do it anymore. Freaked me out at first though...

i would start with lubricating the bushings underneath with some heavy duty silicone spray or the like. Also, check your sway bar + endlinks for tightness.
