Calling out all lowered evos!
I'm lowered on Bilsteins and every once in a while I'm forced to hit a large speed bump and I hear a nasty grinding noise. I'm pretty sure it's the front lower crossbrace or at least the bolts holding it in (it sits so low! a lot lower than the front end itself)
Is there any aftermarket piece that could take care of this problem? I can't even go to my friend's house just because the speed bumps in his complex are too big! haha
maybe this?

Thanks guys

i deal with the same thing on a daily basis. if it's not stupid 8" speed "bars" (not humps, those are mellow) it's brutal ice lane islands that have laready climed part of my undertray. both the front and "middle" front braces are a little bent because of it, and my downpipe bears a few dings as well. i just go slow and at an angle and hope for the best. if it gets really bad maybe i'll get new braces, but for now i just deal with it. i bought stock springs today to replace the s-techs.
ohh i'll try that next time
honestly though guys anything? I can't be the only one having this problem. It's isn't a big deal I face everyday, but it is just an inconvenience! I'm pretty sure that the bolts scrape more than the brace itself (correct me if i'm wrong) perhaps fabbing countersunk screws? Anyways I'll probably eventually just raise the car...
