strange suspension question.

This week i installed gf210 on my front struts. When i removed the stock springs, they (both) had 2 rubber pieces on the sides that would look to keep the springs from compressing at all. Now, is this something for shipping the cars that the dealer never took off, or is it normal?

Like rumber stops? I haven't anything like that on mine. And its on the lift like every week, and i have looked pretty close at the suspension.

Yes its used to when they ship the cars via big rig. There is a FAQ section with those kind of answers but its being "renovated" along with the registry..

They are to keep the suspension from sagging during transport when tied down.
