IX MR Suspension Question...

...I drive the occasional track event, drag now and again, but mostly dd. I don't need coilovers as I am somewhat happy with the OEM suspension in the vehicle but I would like to upgrades the springs that paired with the Bilstien struts. I was considering the Euro. spec Eibach's but wanted to know if anyone knew of a spring that paired well with the MR Bilstiens. Your knowledge would be appreciated.

Regards,

Justin

Swift Springs have been used by many people with great results. One of the few springs that has a version for the EVO specificly for the Bilstein struts.

Lots of good reviews on here.

I was planning on upgrading my MR springs with swift ones until I found out that Racecomp Engineering was planning on introducing springs soon.
As a former Sti owner, I spend some time browsing STi forums.
There were nothing but rave reviews for Racecomp Springs from STi owners.
I believe they are planning on introducing evo springs early this year.
I am hoping to be one of the first evo owners to try them .

I have the WORKS RIDE springs, which are MR-specific, too. Haven't tracked them, but I did autocross them. On the street they feel a lot like the stock springs because they're progressive. They certainly helped cut down on roll, but it's still excessive, IMO. I think they'd be great for a daily driver that's tracked occasionally.

And those too, if you can stand to wait for them!

(Yes we are making progress.)
