Depends on how hard you shift and how often you race. I nail gears fast and hard, you could hear the rear diff thumping on my 2-3 shift........the diff rocked up and down so much that the lobro joint boot in the driveshaft pinched and tore open.
I put mine in when I replaced the boot on the driveshaft to keep that from happening again. I can bang the crap out of gears now and not worry about the diff flopping around, plus getting rid of the nasty THUMP noise on every single 1-2 shift was nice

Beware there will be increased drivetrain noise because you have now solidly bolted the diff to your chasis. There are no rubber mounts for the rear subframe, it bolts directly to the car.

I already have the Buschur F & R motor mounts in place, so what additional hard is drivetrain noice gonna cause lol

Hopefully I can install it soon...

BTW did you pay a shop to do the install?

Well it adds more than they do, but it's mainly only noticeable on decel anyway.

I have my own press, I did it in my shop. The install really isn't too hard at all, I did it by myself. You might want a helper to move the rear subframe around putting it back up though.

I dont own a press, I have to look for a reputable shop that has one....

I dont want anyone using a flame and then causing the metal to become weakened......

It seems like I have to drop the exhaust, sway bars, subrame to get the mustache bars out... I wish it were easier to do

It's not too hard to do. Unfortunatly the rear subframe does have to drop. All 4 of those bushings can be replaced without a press. They are all large enough to be cut out with a hacksaw (well, just cut the outer shell) and then tapped out. The new ones can all be put in by hand, or c-clamp/vice if you need it.
