Damaged Rota Torque Wheels

I ordered some Rota Torque Wheels from MachEvo.com and one of them that arrived was damaged pretty bad. I'm not blaming MachEvo, they appear to be handling it well. I called them and they told me to send them the pictures so they can review them and see what they can do about it. Here are the pictures, has anybody else had this happen to them? The paint is chipped and the boxes are not damaged at all, meaning it definitely happened before they made it into the boxes for shipment to me.

Rota's aren't the strongest of wheels - and I'm speaking from personal experience. I had one break completely and ended up vaulting my Subie upside down. (end discussion)

When it comes down to it, you get what you pay for, and they are usually around $700 shipped...

I've seen the same type of damage (no paint chipping though) with fn01rc's. Those shipping guys just toss the boxes around. I also noticed they shipped with extra cardboard around the edges when I ordered my 2nd set.

Happened to me too. Make a claim with the shipper first. If they were insured, they will have to replace it. I know it may take a little while to get a new one back, ,but it def. shouldn't cost you a thing! Good luck!

UPS agreed it was damaged during shipping. While this isn't my opinion, I'm not the professional, so it would appear I was wrong. Anyway, MachEvo has already gotten another one on the way. Woot.
