Tire Rack Order

I PM'ed Neal with this question but he's been logged off. Maybe some of you with experience with TIre Rack can shed some light for me:

"I am looking at getting the Kosei K3, gold finish, in the 18"x8.5" fitments (30mm offset), road force balanced with a set of Kumho ECSTA Mx's or SPT's. I'm leaning toward the SPT's because I do alot of commuting with my car and having a sticky tire isn't a huge deal to me on this set of wheels. I'll be putting stickies on my stockers and using those for auto crosses etc.

I wanted to verify that the wheels shown on the site are direct fitments and do not require wheels spacers. I'm fairly certain from reading posts by you that this is the case but I want to confirm.

Also, 2 questions about the mounting hardware that is included. What type of lug nuts do you send with the wheels? Are they the tuner style open ended lugs that you fit an inner key into? If so do you offer any other options, because I have run into nightmare scenarios with these types of lug nuts.

The second mounting hardware question is in regards to the hubcentric rings. The picture on the web shows plastic rings. Do you all offer an aluminum hubcentric ring, which in my opinion is the only way to go? I don't want to give my money to Discount Tire Direct if I don't have to. That's where I've gotten my aluminum hub rings from in the past."

I don't think tirerack list any wheels that will require a spacer on the fitment site.

Not sure about the lugs. I am sure it won't be the expensive tuner lugs. But a rim like RPF1 can not take stock lugs, so it would be interesting what Tire Rack would send in that case.

I thought the hubcentric rings they have will be whatever the manufacturer uses. I bought a few sets of wheels from Tire Rack in the past they were all plastic. Maybe it's just my luck.

Yes, I've had a terrible experience with the open-end style tuner lugs where the inner portion of the lug was stripped out and I had to find a welding shop that could weld on aluminum to help me get the lug off, so I am going with something like the McGard Spline Drives in a 12x1.5 application if that is what comes with the wheels. And to make sure things are done right I never use anything but aluminum hub rings with aftermarket wheels so I just want to see what else I'm going to have to buy when I get these. Hopefully Neal or someone from TireRack will get to this thread tomorrow so I can get my orders placed for the required hardware.

I've reconsidered what wheel I want to go with.

Does anyone know:

1) the center bore for the 17x8 Kosei K1 TS wheels? I forget what the Evo hub size is? I'm hoping someone like Discount Tire has an aluminum hubcentric ring application.

2) Whether McGard Spline Drive lug nuts 12x1.5 conical tapering will fit the wheels? If standard tuner lugs fit them I assume the McGard lugs will.

Thanks.
