Otherwise the Muteki and Kyokugen only weigh a few grams more, cost 75% less, use a standard key, and are 10x more durable.
FYI,you can buy the keys for the locking Rays lug nut separately. I do however agree with you on the durability of the cheaper ones mentioned. Durability however only becomes an issue if you over torque the lugnuts which shouldn't be done whether they are made of steel or aluminum.

The only reason I suggested buying 2 sets right off the bat is that it seems like no one ever has just the keys in stock, and you can't always afford to wait 6-8 weeks to get one special-ordered from Japan.

And yes, in a perfect world where you are the only one to ever torque your lugnuts and you remember to use anti-seize, and you never bring it to the dealer or a mechanic for service, or you have the only mechanic on the face of the earth who cares enough to use a torque wrench instead of an impact gun, then I agree, duribility will not be a problem. Otherwise, you're flushing money down the toilet.

The Kics are sweet. They have a built-in washer/rotating collar. When you tighten them down the collar stays pressing on your wheel rather than spinning with the rest of the nut so they don't F up the finish on your rims. Plus they are supposed to give a more reliable and repeatable torque reading. Downside - they are $$$
