max tire size

what is the widest tire that can fit on the stock evo 8 rim? just lookin to go a lil wider? thanks

I run 255/40/17's on my stock BBS's. The sidewall will flex with this size, but it will fit with no rubbing.

i run 245 45 17 no problem.. i think those would be the best..
