Question Which coilovers to consider?

I've searched and read a number of threads on coilovers and thus far have not found much that fits my specific needs.

I'm looking for some suggestions on which coilover suspension go to with considering the following:

-I am looking for something that is not be much more firm than the stock suspension due to the wife factor and having to at some point, put a baby seat in the back heh. My old car had a very stiff suspension and I got nothing but complaints. To her, the stock evo suspension is waaaayyy smoother.

-I will occasionally track the car, but it will mostly be for street use and be daily driven. But definately like the adjustability of a coilover system as far as dampening and ride height adjustment.

-Price- Not looking to spend obscene amounts of money on coilovers. Under $1800.00 for a set (not installed) is the range I'm looking at.

Thanks in advance for your help
-Would like a set to mate nicely to the performance tune and upgrade the car is scheduled for below.

As far as performance, on the 23rd of this month it's getting: Perrin FMIC, Nisei LICP, Samco hose kit, Perring 3" DP, Jun B.L. 3" TBE with test pipe, Cosworth 272 cams, ARP Head studs, AVCr boost controller, HKS Drop in Filter, Walboro fuel pump, 720cc injectors, and custom tune. After some time driving on this, will be installing an FP Green turbo.

I have the Helix DNA that Gruppe-S sells and I love them. I have been in many cars with the Tein SS setup and I would take mine anyday....

Apexi EXV N1, I think it is almost as smooth (if you can call it that) as stock. Good adjustability and great price. I stole mine for $900 shipped on ebay brand new.

I don't think this is the same seller I got mine from, but you can make him an offer and see what happens.

I have the Megan Racing Street Coilovers and they're great. 32 way stiffness and full ride hight adjustability. $900 shipped brand new from Zeus. I had pretty much the same criteria as you and I feel that these meet all of them very well.

Dude you're in the same boat as I am, I got a great deal on a custom set of Function XS's from Speed Element,

Take a look here: Zeal Function XS

If you want them make sure to contact Speed Element first since they have them on sale (sale price not listed on the site). I worked with Calvin.

How about the Bilstein PSS9. I heard that they're great for the street and light track purpose.

There's a review about the suspension on this forum. If you're interested, trying giving it a search.

Well no shiat!? Sorry about that. I didn't know it was the only set he had. I thought that it was a unique setup they were doing.
