Question unsprung weight

On a local forum a discussion is at hand about total unsprung mass. I know the wheel/tire combo is about 45.5 lbs for each wheel on a stock evo 8. Does anybody know the weights of the rest of the unsprung components? Rotors, calipers, pads, arms?

No, no..think of unsprung as rotational only. (performance wise) Rotors yes, calipers no. unsprung rotational multiply by 7.. sprung rotational as in flywheel - multiply by three.

For example..say your new rims and tires weight 30lbs. You save 15lbs per wheel, times four wheels, times 7. That equals about 420lbs of total weight savings.

Same for the drivetrain, 'cept by 3.
