Suspension question....Please read!!!

We all know that the EVO has the best handling setup in stock form(for now). My question is, who is willing to sacrifice/compromise their handling by swapping in a set of lowering springs or coilover to make their cars look good by getting rid of that ugly gap we have on our EVO's. I'm not really sure it is a good idea to mess with the EVO's suspension geometry but lowering the car a bit will definately help the looks of our EVO with a lower center of gravity. What do you guys think? I'm thinking of putting a set of either Eibach Pro-kit or some Tien lowering springs. The only thing that will be stopping me is if I'm going to be compromising the great handling of the car. Please help.
