planning on running 255/35/18's...only to be sure everything clears, no rubbing, and cause that's what i read about in the wheel/tire faq's thread....

So the +25 offset fit fine? How close does it come to the caliper?... Did they stray you away from the +35... if so what was their reason. Thanks

there's still about 1/2 inch gap between the rim and the caliper...honestly, i did ask them about the +25 and the +35 offset..and the guy was like "well the +25 offset is good coz it clears the brembos". i don't really know why he didn't say the +35 clears it even more, or maybe he just doesn't know?

Any reason you didn't go with the rim/tire package? It seemed like they were a good price.

the tires were only either 225's or 265's..i didn't wanna do too much work if i got the 265's and had rubbing issues. i never asked them if they had the 255/35/18 package with the wheels though...plus, i kinda ran out of budget too.

also you have to look closely on the packages, coz the first one with the falken's i believe were the cheapest, but they don' t have 'em in stock. so you can be putting in the order and then getting an email or having someone call you (if somebody even does) to let you know they don't have it in stock and you have to wait...that's being optimistic. some online companies have you waiting forever and then when you decide to call that's when you find out the bad news. but edgeracing was good about everything though....i called to check on the online order i put in the day after i did and the guy was like "yeah we got it and we'll be shipping them out to you today so you should get it by the end of this week"..and he was right, i got it the end of the week.

+35 gives u less clearance, hence might not even clear ur brakes.

do u know if they have 18x9.5 +25?

thanks man! i sure will once i get tires for them . the hood's not seibon...i got it from the shop one the guys recommended here, complete auto body, fitment's about 8 out of 10...just coz it sits a tad higher in the front where it meets the headlights...nothing too noticeable till you get real close.
