Which tires with S-techs

What tire sizes can u run with tein s-techs and not get any rub? I am still running the stock 17" wheels and was wondering which sizes to go with. Also what is the tire life (mileage) you guys are getting on the 615s or REO1Rs? Ive searched and sorry if this is a repost.

Tires aren't relevant to springs. Get whatever tire fits on the stock rim. The biggest you can fit is a 255/40-17.

However, I think you should be MUCH more concerned about having such awful springs on your car. They do not improve performance and will blow your shocks for sure.

^^^ Agreed! I had the S-techs installed from the previous owner and removed them ASAP to Swifts. You really should go coilovers if you can, but like me not everyone has the money. Also the 255 will fit on the factory rim, but i wouldnt try to go any wider and with how low those S-techs sit the car you may rub with a tire that large.

Yeah the plan is to go with coilovers...im not takin it to the track or anything until i do at least. Ive heard all the bad things bout the springs but oh well. Just gotta wait till i can get the money together.

It's not relevant to whether you go to the track or not. Each time you drive it will be damaging the shocks. You should put the stock springs back on if you care. If not, then carry on.
