Brake Fluid and Grease?

I've started to change out my pads and get the rotors cut, While i was doing this i was going to go ahead and change the brake fluid from Dot-3 to Dot-4 but i can't seem to find it anywhere in stores, autozone, pepboys, walmart, etc..., also wasn't sure of what brake grease to use on the pads? I have some valvoline synthetic brake grease would that work? or should i go with something else.

I found some Valvoline Synthetic Brake fluid suppose to be better then dot 3- and dot-4?

I have used with good success Valvoline SYNPower, I'm surprised you can't find it.
