Ball Joint Wrap??

Ball Joint Wrap??

hi there everyone

question is, i been watching alot lot of BMI and Hot Version Videos and whe they show the underside of the car it looks like the the ball joints end are wrap with something that looks like heat wrap and i was just wondering what it was. Because it one the J's Racing CRX and S2000 and those cars are sick no matter what anybodies thinks

We do the same on the Prelude... Its to protect them from the glowing red brake rotors.

so it is heat wrap right???? the same we would use on the header and manifold???

correct!

Just cut it to be the width to cover your ball joint boot, wrap twice around, secure with some safty wire so it doesnt unwrap. Whola, problem solved.
