Brake problem

Here's the story. I replaced the front/rear pads and rotors two weaks ago. Everything seemed fine, but I was starting to feel like the brakes weren't biting as hard as they are supposed to. When I went out tonight, I started to hear a clunking noise that came from the front tires. I could tell that it was from the wheels, as it increased and decreased with speed. After a hard brake, the sound went away for a second or two but them came back. Next, I started to get a soft brake pedal feel, then it would stiffen up again, and then it would go soft again. What does this sound like?

It sounds like you need to take a cold shower.
